Return gifts for twins: one party, two names on the bag

Return gifts for twins come down to one rule: every guest gets one pack, and the bag says the party belongs to both. Twins share the party but not always the friend list, so the work is in counting guests once, choosing a theme two children agree on, and getting both names onto the packs. How do return gifts for twins work?

One pack per guest, not one per twin. A friend who knows both twins still goes home with one pack, the same as everyone else. What changes for twins is the bag and the card: both should carry both names, so no guest leaves thinking the party was only for one of them.

How do you put both names on the bag?

Choose the customised theme bag. It is printed on one side with any theme and text you ask for, so it can carry both names, such as "Aarav and Anaya turn 5", or "Thank you for celebrating with Myra and Kabir". It is paper, 8 by 10 inches, and costs more than our ₹25 printed bags, so keep the products to ₹110 or less for a ₹150 pack.

What if each twin wants a different theme?

Two ways to handle it:

• One bag, both themes. Ask for a customised bag design that puts both themes side by side, such as a unicorn and a dinosaur, with both names underneath. Every guest gets the same pack.
• Two pack designs. Each twin's friends get that twin's theme. Build Your Pack makes one pack design per order, so for two designs in one order, order through our team on WhatsApp. Two separate website orders also work, but each carries its own delivery charge.

The first is simpler on the day. With two designs, you need two boxes at the door and a list of which friend belongs to which twin.

How do you count guests for two children?

By family, once. Start with each twin's list, then merge them:

• Same class: one class list, usually 30 children in the class orders we pack.
• Different sections: two class lists. If you invite both whole classes, that is about 60 children.
• Shared family friends and cousins: count each child once, even if both twins named them.

Then add 10 spare packs, the buffer we suggest for siblings and drop-ins. Two whole classes of 30 plus 10 spare packs come to 70 packs. At ₹150 a pack that is ₹10,500, which crosses ₹10,000, so delivery is free. Our guide on how many return gifts to order explains the counting.

Can the water bottles carry both names?

Our engraved rabbit water bottle is made to carry each guest's name, but our product photo shows the same two names engraved on four bottles, the way a family might mark a twins' party. How do you hand out packs with two hosts?

Put both twins at the door as guests leave, so each friend gets a pack and a thank-you from the twin who invited them, and a wave from the other. If you ordered two pack designs, keep them in two labelled boxes, one per twin, with that twin's guest list on top. Keep the 10 spare packs in a third box for siblings and late arrivals.

When should you order?

Two weeks before the party, and earlier if you want a customised bag or names on bottles, since those details need agreeing first. We dispatch within 2 to 3 business days, then delivery takes 1 to 2 days within Hyderabad and 3 to 5 days elsewhere. Our 3-week countdown has the last safe order days.

What should the thank-you card say?

Something from both twins. Every pack includes a printed thank-you card, and our team confirms its message with you on WhatsApp after you order. Keep it to 160 characters:

• "Thank you for coming to our birthday! Love, Aarav and Anaya"
• "Two birthdays, one party, lots of fun. Thanks for coming! Love, Myra and Kabir"
• "Double the cake, double the thanks! Love, Riya and Rohan"

Should boy-girl twins have separate packs?

Not necessarily. A pack every child can use, such as colouring, a craft kit, a glass water bottle or a card game, works for both twins' friends. If some items come in boys' and girls' designs, add the count in the Special Instructions box at checkout, such as "35 packs for boys, 35 packs for girls".

Which combos suit a twins' party?

These two combos suit both twins' friends, with a mix of things to use and things to play with:
