# Return gifts delivery to Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi Source: https://www.celebrationgifting.in/blog/return-gifts-delivery Published: 2026-10-29 Publisher: Celebration Gifting (https://www.celebrationgifting.in) > We dispatch within 2 to 3 business days from Hyderabad, and delivery then takes 3 to 5 days to Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and other cities. Order at least 11 days before the party, or two weeks to be safe. Delivery costs the same everywhere: ₹250 under ₹5,000, ₹150 up to ₹9,999 and free from ₹10,000. ## Key takeaways - Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi all take 3 to 5 days after dispatch, the same as other cities outside Hyderabad. - The last safe order day outside Hyderabad is 11 days before the party; two weeks leaves slack. - Delivery charges depend only on the order value, not the city: ₹250, ₹150 or free. - Have packs delivered to your home a few days early, not to the venue on the day. Return gifts delivery from Hyderabad to other cities works on two numbers: we dispatch within 2 to 3 business days, and delivery then takes 3 to 5 days, whether the packs are going to Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi or a smaller town. This guide turns those numbers into a last safe order day, explains what delivery costs and covers a few cases, such as grandparents ordering for a party in another city. To start a pack, open [Build Your Pack](/buildyourpack). ## How long does return gifts delivery take outside Hyderabad? About 5 to 10 days from your order, depending on the day you order. Celebration Gifting is based in Hyderabad and delivers across India. | Delivering to | Dispatch | Delivery after dispatch | Order at least | |---|---|---|---| | Hyderabad | 2 to 3 business days | 1 to 2 days | 8 days before the party | | Bengaluru | 2 to 3 business days | 3 to 5 days | 11 days before the party | | Chennai | 2 to 3 business days | 3 to 5 days | 11 days before the party | | Mumbai | 2 to 3 business days | 3 to 5 days | 11 days before the party | | Delhi | 2 to 3 business days | 3 to 5 days | 11 days before the party | | Anywhere else in India | 2 to 3 business days | 3 to 5 days | 11 days before the party | The four metros are not a special case: we confirmed that all four take 3 to 5 days after dispatch, like every other city outside Hyderabad. ## What is the last safe order day for a party outside Hyderabad? 11 days before the party. Dispatch is counted in business days, so an order placed on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday has a weekend inside its dispatch window and waits longest. Allowing for that, and for 5 days of delivery, 11 days gets the packs to you at least a day before the party. | Party on | Order by (outside Hyderabad) | |---|---| | Sunday 29 November 2026 | Wednesday 18 November | | Sunday 6 December 2026 | Wednesday 25 November | | Saturday 12 December 2026 | Tuesday 1 December | Two weeks ahead is the safer habit, because business days also skip public holidays. Around Diwali, Christmas and Sankranti, add a few more days. Our [3-week countdown](/blog/when-to-order-return-gifts) covers the whole timeline. ## What about festival weeks? Order earlier, because public holidays don't count as business days. These are the dates we suggest for deliveries outside Hyderabad: | Occasion | Date | Order outside Hyderabad by | |---|---|---| | Diwali (Lakshmi Puja) | Sunday 8 November 2026 | Monday 26 October | | Children's Day | Saturday 14 November 2026 | Friday 30 October | | Christmas class parties | Friday 18 December 2026 | Friday 4 December | | Bhogi | Thursday 14 January 2027 | Monday 28 December | Our [Diwali guide](/blog/diwali-return-gifts-for-kids) and [Children's Day guide](/blog/childrens-day-gifts-for-students) explain the dates for those festivals. ## Does delivery cost more outside Hyderabad? No. The delivery charge depends only on the order value, not the city. As of October 2026 it is ₹250 under ₹5,000, ₹150 from ₹5,000 to ₹9,999, and free from ₹10,000, charged once per order. A Delhi order of 40 packs at ₹150 costs the same ₹6,000 plus ₹150 delivery as the same order in Hyderabad. ## Where should the packs be delivered? To your home, a few days before the party. Couriers deliver within a window of days, not at a set hour, so don't plan on a delivery to a hall or restaurant on the morning of the party. If you live in a gated community, tell the security desk to expect a large delivery. When the packs arrive, count them, open one to check the items and the thank-you card, and keep the rest closed until the party. If anything looks wrong, message us on WhatsApp the same day, while there is still time before the party. ## What if the party is less than 11 days away? Message us on WhatsApp before you order, so we can tell you honestly whether the dates work. Our stated times don't promise faster delivery outside Hyderabad. If you are in Bengaluru and need gifts within a day or two, a local service with same-day delivery may suit you better; our [comparison with Elewrap](/blog/celebration-gifting-vs-elewrap) covers one that offers it. ## Can you order for a party in another city? Yes. If you are helping with a grandchild's or a relative's party in another city, the order works the same way: build the pack, enter the party family's address for delivery, and pay online. Put the birthday child's name in the thank-you card message, which our team confirms on WhatsApp after you order; keep it to 160 characters, such as "Thank you for coming to my party! Love, Ananya". Our minimum is 5 packs and there is no maximum. ## Which combos travel well to another city? Any combo ships the same way, with the same delivery times. These two carry the Bestseller and Hotseller tags on our site. The Tiny Tots Lunch Pack pairs a glass water bottle with an insulated lunch bag; the Happy School Hamper has a temperature steel water bottle, an Uno game, a unicorn gel pen and a stationery pouch. **Return gift combo:** [Tiny Tots Lunch Pack](https://www.celebrationgifting.in/combos/tiny-tots-lunch-pack), ₹215 per pack **Return gift combo:** [Happy School Hamper](https://www.celebrationgifting.in/combos/happy-school-hamper-combo), ₹550 per pack Both come in a Happy Birthday bag.
